What exactly is an ESN?
An IT services company (formerly known as a software services company) designs and develops IT projects for other companies. It operates in a staff augmentation model (its consultants strengthen your teams) or a fixed-price model (a turnkey project is delivered).
ESN or SSII: what's the difference?
None on the merits. «ESN» replaced «SSII» in 2013 to reflect a broader role than just software engineering. The business remains the same: putting IT skills at the service of your project.
Commission or flat rate: which to choose?
Retainers are suitable when needs evolve and you maintain control. Fixed-price projects are suitable when the scope is clear: we commit to a deliverable, a price, and a deadline. We will guide you to the right model based on your project.
How much does an ESN cost in Luxembourg?
For time-and-materials projects, we charge a daily rate based on the project profile; for fixed-price projects, the price depends on the scope of work. Our package deals start at €3,999, and many projects are eligible for the SME Package (up to 70 % funded by the government).
ESN or internal recruitment?
Recruiting makes sense for a permanent need. A consulting firm makes sense for specialized skills, quickly, for a defined period, without the cost or risk of hiring. Often, the right answer combines both, and they'll tell you frankly.
