A Luxembourgish collaboration serving runners' health
The Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) has launched an ambitious study to explore the impact of running shoe cushioning on injury prevention. The study specifically examines how the cushioning material in the heel and forefoot of running shoes reduces the risk of injury. To bring this project to fruition, LIH has chosen Technology Partner as a strategic IT partner to design and maintain an innovative digital platform dedicated to this study.
Why is this study essential?
Running is one of the most popular sports, but it often comes with injuries, particularly to the joints and muscles. These problems are frequently linked to inadequate shoe cushioning or poor posture. The goal of this study is to collect reliable data to better understand these factors and offer concrete solutions to runners.
A digital platform at the heart of the project
To ensure a smooth and secure experience, LIH entrusted Technology Partner with the design of an intuitive platform allowing participants to easily register, share their data, and track the study's progress. This custom-developed digital solution adheres to the strictest data protection standards and ensures optimal management of scientific information.
We needed a partner who could understand our scientific challenges while offering a robust and scalable technological solution. Technology Partner met our expectations by developing a platform that facilitates runner participation and the collection of essential data for our research. Explains Laurent Malisoux, Group Leader (Physical Activity, Sport & Health), LIH.
This collaboration exemplifies Technology Partner's values: authenticity and commitment. The team is proud to have understood LIH's scientific challenges and translated them into a high-performing and secure digital solution. This project is the result of a fruitful partnership, where technical expertise and research meet to improve runners' health.
