We believe this is an advantage for both the \"trainer\" and the \"trainees.\" We've observed that employees are more engaged when one of their peers is training them. Their attention span and concentration during training are better, as each technical session typically concludes with questions, demonstrations, and inevitable discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pedagogical aspect must also be considered, because \"one can only teach when one has acquired the gift of synthesizing one's knowledge.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Technical communities must also allow us to support and connect with new employees who have joined us. But also, to strengthen those already present with other colleagues. As Technology Partner is an IT service company, some of our employees are on client sites and do not see each other very often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first internal community was organized when we were still part of the Linc group, and that was in June 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since 2019, we have been trying to do it regularly, meaning at least once a month. Despite the Covid-19 crisis, during which we had to put physical events on hold. Today, we have organized about twenty training sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Technology Partner is on the Microsoft Stack, our employees prefer to tackle topics on this technology. The advantage is that they can thus find solutions to blockages on client projects. Sessions on Microsoft Azure DevOps, ASP.Net: Blazor, or SQL Server Advanced have already been held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some of our collaborators decided to tackle more trending topics like Clojure. But others still wanted to talk about the technologies they use outside of work, for personal projects for example. We were able to learn about Flowable or Unity VR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is very important for us to support them in their technological training and to enable connections between employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to monthly technical communities, we offer external training to our teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on our clients' project needs, we train our employees on the necessary topics. The smooth progress of a project is essential for maintaining motivation, so what's worse than being stuck? For example, four of our employees completed several days of Kubernetes training in 2021. For 2022, we will also be offering other types of training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
